The Intangible Heritage Museum is mainly divided into two sections: exhibition and experience. Upon entering the exhibition hall, the most striking feature is the golden wall of movable type. Opposite the movable type wall stands an antique printing press, over three hundred years old and now covered in rust. The seventy-two procedures of Tang Dynasty papermaking, along with various papermaking tools, are vividly displayed here, perfectly demonstrating the craftsmanship and artisan spirit of our papermaking masters.
The exhibition section is organized around four major themes: Characters, Paper, Books, and Kilns. Through the various exhibits, visitors can gain a clear understanding of the evolution of Chinese characters, the journey of paper from its invention to its reform and development, and the invention process of printing. The museum is open year-round from 10:00 to 17:00.
